A place to meet, greet and organise lazy days and crazy nights!

As most are aware, the East of Pattaya (The Darkside) is predominately an Expat residency and has been a quiet suburb to the bright lights of Pattaya City.  

For those that have wondered, the name 'Darkside' derived from a couple of guys called Lee and Ben back in 2005, who based their comments on the lack of street lighting and nothing to do with the seedier side of life

However, since 2005 things have changed...A lot! 

The four main soi's that comprise the Darkside (Soi Khao Talo, Soi Khao Noi, Nern Plab Wern and Soi Siam Country) now all have street lightning, as well as concrete roads!

In the past 4 years since 2005 there has been a HUGE surge in new businesses opening and hopefully this website will be of great assistance to you all.

Bars - With now over one hundred bars on the Darkside you should never struggle to find an ice cold beer and somebody to pass the time of day with, check out our listings and map.

Restaurants - With some real culinary delights on the East side of Pattaya and with prices that won't break the bank, it really is worth visiting these treasures of Thailand.

Accommodation - Somewhat limited and certainly no where near the choice you have in Pattaya city but again, some real gems of hotels and guesthouses and guaranteed not to break the bank. 

Family Recreation - East Pattaya prides itself on it's day time activities.  No, there are no shopping malls, though there are plenty of outdoor recreations to fill your day from, go-karts, crocodile farms, tiger zoo's, canoeing, horse riding, enduro riding, maybe simply leisurely sitting by a pool or having a game of Petanque, there's plenty more to do.

Darts Leagues - The Darkside has it's own darts league, which has a number of the local bars getting together from week to week to duel it out on the oche.

Bowls Leagues - With Pattaya's main bowling green in the heart of the city, the East side couldn't be out done, a fantastic bowling green and well worth a visit.

Golf Societies- Too many to mention, seems that most Darkside bars have their own teams, so if you ever fancy a round but cannot get paired up, just simply ask at one of your local drinking dens.

Pool Leagues - Pool leagues are played most nights of the week on a rotation basis and with most Darkside having pool tables and FREE ones at that, you should always get a go on the baize.
